12/08 Early this morning Uber Girl, a Cava-Poo (half poodle and half King Charles Cavalier Spaniel) began birthing this beautiful litter of five puppies (two chocolate males, one black male and two black females). I was able to go see them not too long after they were born and hold them and photograph Uber with them. In a few weeks we'll let Biscotti visit too. The puppies are precious, soft and beautiful. We're calling them Cava-Poo Poos since they are 3/4 poodle. This litter is very active, already trying to explore thier world even though they can't even see yet. Their eyes will be opening in about ten days, and then watch out. Three are already spoken for.
2/08 We've had several visits with the puppies, and they are adorable and smart. Last I checked there was 1 black girl and 1 chocolate boy left. She may be keeping the boy. She left their tails long like the mom Uber (who is 1/2 King Charles Cavalier Spaniel). Other than the long tail they look exactly like poodles. They don't shed and are hyper-allergenic. The mom Uber has a wonderful personality and is a real cutie. Of course you know what we think of Sir Biscotti (he's our boy, and you couldn't find a more perfect looking and smarter poodle than him).
